Crafted from premium, American-made CPM-Magnacut stainless steel in heavy-duty .210" stock, the Shepherd features a 3 7/8" blade that is highly resistant to corrosion or staining. Thanks to our own specialty heat treat, Dawson blades stay sharp up to twice as long as other premium steels. 

Our American-made G10 handle says, "Aw, that's cute" to rain, snow, mud and just about anything else you can think of. We designed all our handles for secure, comfortable, hot-spot free use in all seasons and textured them for improved grip when the going gets wet.

The Shepherd also features a completely redesigned GEN 2 Carbon Fiber Kydex sheath, featuring an improved, rattle free fit, horizontal, vertical, MOLLE and beltless carry options and more. Specially designed for compatibility with the included UltiClip 3.3 Slim for secure carry in the backwoods or around the ranch.

Handy knife

Just received this GEN 2 Shepherd in Arizona Copper Finish. Very sharp and easy to use. It is a medium size knife. A bit on the heavy side compared to my normal knives. So far, used it in the kitchen to trim fat and lining of some beef and pork ribs. Will use it more in the daily kitchen. Definitely recommend buying this beautiful and handy knife!

CPM Magna Cut Stealth Black Shephard

This is my fifth Dawson Knife and I couldn't be happier with my choice . I gravitate to Hunters and Skinners and Im glad I chose this model. I have Bench made, Winkler and many other U.S. made knives in my collection but Dawson is the knife Im most asked about at our Hunting camp. They all look good.
