This knife has exceeded all expectations, absolutely beautiful. This blade impressed me so much that I had to order the Harvester to go with this Woodsman...I'm gonna be in so much trouble. 😂
My 5th Dawson knife. They never disappoint. Sheath needs refinement or replacement as its simply too beefy and overbuilt for most. A thin tack sheath with a pushoff ramp and shallow so it gives you more handle to grab would be ideal. Blade is great. Consider doing away with sharpening choil or off that as an option.
Impressive knife. Solid build. Very comfortable in the hand. Very satisfied.
I love this knife. I just had to make a couple modifications. I took the belt clip off and just ride it in my front pocket. The place at the end of the butt was just too sharp. I ground that sharp edge off, then rolled it from the flat **** drivers area around both side. Then rolled up sand paper to smooth out the center hole. That was too sharp too. It’s perfect now. My pinky doesn’t get gouged when I release it from the kydex. It’s a beautiful piece of steel. Oh one other thing. That cut out in the edge of the cutting edge, at base by handel is annoying. Ive snagged it on several things as I use the knife. I think it’s for a ferro rod striker? I used it to start a couple fires and the ferro sparks burn the finish on the blade. While doesn’t bother me since I see this knife as a tool and tools get used hard around me. But nevertheless, most people would be unhappy about that cool looking finish getting burnt. Thanks for checking up. I am thinking of getting the Reaper next. That Reaper is a cool looking knife I think I could carry everyday. If not I’d use it backpacking for sure. Anyway love the knife and the values you stand for. Good luck for ever! Aaron Paxton
I saw this company on Undaunted.life and wanted to give them a shot. Love the knife, great for edc. Even better that they stand for Christian values. Keep up the good work.
