I received an email stating "We hope you're enjoying your ProtectMyOrder as much as we enjoyed making it for you." Of all the ProtectMyOrders I've bought over the years from various vendors, no one makes a ProtectMyOrder to as high of n exacting quality standard like Dawson Knives. I can honestly say that will never buy another ProtectMyOrder from anyone else ever again. My order was so protected, I couldn't even lay hands on it, after the box was delivered.
I inspected and tested it out myself when it arrived. Performance was as shown in the videos. Thanks for a “Made in America” product with such high quality.
Great Blade Nice & Sturdy! Nee Monsoon Finish Is Amazing! Thank You Dawson!
Bought as a Christmas gift so I have not personally use it, however, build quality is excellent, well balanced knife, feels good in the hand.
When I first received my Dawson Wilderness knife, my initial impression was that it was a little bit smaller than I anticipated. That worked itself out, as I often think I want a bigger knife, but always find a slightly smaller size much more useful. Once I got my hands on it, I knew it was the perfect craftsmanship I have come to expect, having owned and used another Dawson knife for almost 3 years. When I started feathering out some fire tinder, that's when I noticed some sharp edges on both ends of the tang. I thought I might get used to it, but within a few minutes, I knew I had a fun little project to look forward to. I removed the scales so as not to damage them, and went to work on all of the areas that were bothering me with a fine file, and then some emery cloth, being careful not to remove too much material – just enough to soften up those sharp right angles that were annoying my hands. I was careful not to chamfer any part of the steel that met up with the scales. The end result is what I was at first thinking Dawson should have done, but I'm glad they didn't, as it gave me a great opportunity to get my eyes and hands intimately familiar with my new knife, a process I very much enjoy and appreciate! Are used to take one Dawson knife will be enough for me, and now I know that not even two of their knives won't be.
I like it way you can carry both way and exchanged handles
