Upon initial inspection there was a certificate of authenticity. I read it and they wrote down the wrong handle color color. My handles are red and on the order it says red plus black G10, however the certificate of authenticity says forest camo.
As I am a brand new customer to these knives and hope to be a long-term customer . This gave me the impression that my my knife missed quality control, which again raises all sorts of other questions.
I also noticed the knife handles where they were drilled out had small birds which again raised quality control questions to me. I took the handles off myself and cleaned them out and now it is fine.
Best case scenario I do hope Dawson Knives) contacts me with the correct certificate of city for my knife and they also either fix the knife sheet or sends me a knife sheet that I can at least use more than two or three fingers to draw a knife out in a emergency.
Every Dawson Knife i have bought over the years has been top notch, so it goes with this new Gen 2 Outcast, i love everything about, high quality look, feel and durability, thanks again Dawson Knives for another awesome fixed blade to add to my collection!
So after spending some time with my Wayfinder, I decided that if I could only take one knife into a survival situation, it would be this one. It's perfect . . . big enough to handle any needs, but not too big to handle more delicate tasks. Besides all that, it is a beautiful piece of work that is extremely sharp!! You will be so glad you bought it!
Would love to see this in production with Magnacut!! Great little blade!
I have nothing but good things to say about Dawson Knives and my Gen 2 Shepherd. The knife itself is a functional work of art made of top-quality steel. The experience speaking with the staff about what knife would best fit my needs was second to none. I can say one thing for absolute certain—this is my first knife from Dawson, but it will not be my last!
One of my favorite 🤩 knives from Dawson and I have 2 of them 👍🏼
