Choose your fighter: the 4" trailing point Ration is a classic wide-belly skinning and game processing specialist, while 4.5" drop point Creed is both a versatile hunter and everyday carry knife.

Creed and Ration are each crafted from American-made .140" stock CPM-3V steel, unmatched for its exceptional toughness, lateral strength and edge-holding capability. Each is skillfully ground and finished by hand, then custom heat-treated with our own proprietary method, delivering a rugged blade that's up for anything and stays sharp up to twice as long as other premium steels.

The handle is built by hand of individual leather rounds cut from full grain hides, that are then compressed, sealed and held securely in place with a solid steel pommel and rod. Each handle is individually shaped and tested for comfort and grip.

Both the Creed and Ration are available during this special release in your choice of Satin or Stealth Black blade finishes.

Outstanding Quality That You Rarely See These Days

The knives are simple stunning to look at. The fit and finished is a 10 out of 10. Being a perfectionist, I can find even a minor fault in just about anything at any price point. But on these knives, I honestly can't think of one thing I would change. God Bless and keep up the work!

Nomad Satin Finish

This is my fourth Dawson Knife. I bought a Deep Notch several years ago and was so impressed I bought two more as gifts - one for my hunting partner and one for my son. Had them engraved with their names as well. The Deep Notch is a true EDC - right down to the inside the pocket sheath. That knife fits my hand perfectly. Quality blade. Back to the Nomad - I really like the satin finish on this one. And it is super sharp. I was hoping it was a tad bigger than the Deep Notch for hunting (although I've cleaned several deer with the Deep Notch without a hitch). And I got exactly that - a very quality blade that's a touch bigger. It may very well take the number one spot in my hunting line up. The craftmanship of the Nomad is perfect - not a flaw anywhere. Drop point shape for "do it all" functionality. And it fits my hand very nicely. Couldn't be happier with this knife. Before leaving, here's an idea - bring back the Deep Notch with a MagnaCut Satin finish. That would be the ultimate EDC. And I'd be all over that. To the Dawson Team - whatever it is you do, and however you're doing it - keep it up. These are very high quality blades at a very reasonable price and they're made right here in the United States. Thanks for all you do.
