The Pompeii Gladius is made from 1/4" 5160 steel, hand finished with Barry's dark gray Antiqued finish and featuring a 16" razor sharp double edge. Barry uses a special signature heat treat which he has perfected over 30 years of knife and sword making to produce a superior edge with battle toughness. A masterpiece of function and style!
The polished and shaped Snakewood handle shown is fastened to its full tang with Barry's handmade Mosaic Pins then overlaid with his signature Interlocking Wrap. These beautiful scales glow in a contrasting pattern of gold and chocolate brown.
This superb sword will make an excellent addition to your set and comes with its own custom fitted leather or black Kydex sheath, specially designed to be worn tucked comfortably and conveniently inside the belt.
