The polished Micarta handle is ultra tough and durable, made to take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. The scales are fastened to a full tang with Barry's handmade Mosaic Pins, then overlaid with his signature black interlocking Japanese wrap.
This classic Katana boasts an elegant 18" blade. Traditional American quality from an American craftsman! The blade is painstakingly shaped from 1/4" high carbon 5160 steel with Barry's own custom heat-treat and high contrast hard-line.
This incredible sword comes with its own custom fitted leather sheath, specially designed to be worn tucked into a traditional obi or a western style belt. The overall length is approximately 26 1/2".
