This modern samurai-style sword is inspired by the curved katana and wakizashi blades of the Japanese Edo period. It features a full length top bevel that strips away excess weight, revealing a lean, hungry beast with a nasty attitude and plenty of teeth. Responsive and well-balanced in the hand. Forward thumb ramp, integral hand guard and Japanese interlocking wrap in cotton silk.

An all around solid purchase. Aesthetically pleasing, well balanced, incredible finish. If you ever wanted to purchase a sword, this is it! All the materials used on this sword are quality! Money well spent. The only improvement or feedback, is that the sheath came with a snap/retainer/buckle to retain the blade in the case you are carrying it while on the move. I assume the idea is to be able to draw the blade swiftly. But an optional retention method would have been great. 10/10, the retention method would have been the cherry on the top.
